Short version: edfenergysaver only collects the minimum data needed to run the site. No email list, no data sales, no advertising trackers.
What we collect via Google Analytics 4: Aggregate page views, session duration, referrer source, approximate country. IP anonymisation is enabled. 2-month data retention. No personal identifiers, no cross-site tracking.
What we collect via Google Search Console: Aggregate search query data — which keywords surface our pages and how often they’re clicked. No individual user data.
Hosting logs (Hostinger): Standard web server logs (IP address, user agent, request URL, timestamp), retained for 30 days for security and diagnostic purposes.
Cookies: Only strictly-necessary cookies for site operation. When you click through to EDF Energy via our Refer a Friend link, EDF’s own site sets its own cookies subject to EDF’s cookie and privacy policies — separate from us.
Your data rights (UK GDPR): You can request access to any data we hold about you, correction of inaccuracies, or deletion. Email hello@edfenergysaver.co.uk with your request. Response within 30 days.
Third parties: Google (Analytics, Search Console), Hostinger (hosting). No other data processors. No email marketing service, no CRM, no advertising networks.
